Recipes - Biscuits - Short Bread
Ingredients:
1 cup maizena
3 cups flour
¾ cup castor sugar or ½ castor sugar and ½ icing sugar.
300g butter
Method:
Sieve flour, maizena and castor sugar.
Beat the butter until light and fluffy.
Knead dry ingredients into the butter.
Press into a baking tray lined with baking paper and sprayed.
Bake in a moderate oven 160º on the top shelf for approximately ¾ hour until firm and slightly brown.
When slightly cool, dredge with castor sugar and cut into squares or fingers
